He obtained master and PhD degree within the Applied geophysics program at the Faculty of Science of the Charles University in Prague. His main focus is basic and applied research in gravimetry in various fields &#8211; raw material exploration, mapping of geological structures, geo-engineering (sinkholes, landslides), monitoring changes of stress in geodynamically active areas, search for unknown volcanic bodies and underground archaeological objects. As well he deals with fluids monitoring in reservoirs (water, gas).<br \/>In 2019 he received the status of \u201cHonorary Member of Myanmar Association of Petroleum Geologists\u201d. In 2021 he was awarded a&nbsp;medal \u201cFor life-lasting contribution to the development of gravimetry in Egypt\u201d by the Arab Association of Astronomy and Geophysics. In 2022 he lectured on \u201cApplied Gravimetry\u201d at Palacky University in Olomouc.<\/p>\n<p>He is responsible for conducting observations of earth tides by tiltmeters, with application to monitoring hazardous slopes stability in coal mines.<br \/>Recently deals with salt diapir and volcanic structures gravity mapping and modeling.<br \/>He is also giving occasional lectures and seminars on gravity survey and monitoring of hydrological processes, oil and gas exploitation and other gravity application at foreign universities and professional associations in Europe, Asia and Africa (e.g. Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, etc.).<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.23.1&#8243; hover_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243; global_colors_info=&#8221;{}&#8221; sticky_enabled=&#8221;0&#8243;]<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Selected publications since 2009<br \/><\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hrubcov\u00e1, T.
