The selected satellite image is always accompanied by expert commentary.<\/p>\n<p>The March 2 article features images of volcanoes named \u201ecinder cones\u201c from Earth and Mars and comments on their contrasting properties on the two planets (available <a href=\"https:\/\/science.nasa.gov\/earth\/earth-observatory\/scoria-cones-on-earth-and-mars\/\">here<\/a>). The text cites planetary geologist <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ig.cas.cz\/en\/contact\/staff\/petr-broz\/\">Petr Bro\u017e<\/a> from the Institute of Geophysics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, who is a&nbsp;member of the team of \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ig.cas.cz\/en\/research\/teams\/surface-processes-palaeoclimate\/\">Surface Processes &amp; Palaeoclimate<\/a>\u201c, and focuses primarily on manifestations of volcanic activity on Mars and other bodies of the Solar system.
