The Institute of Geophysics is delighted to announce that the European Geosciences Union (EGU) has awarded the 2024 Beno Gutenberg Medal to our colleague RNDr. Jaroslava Plomerová, DrSc.
This medal was established by the Seismology Division in recognition of the scientific achievements of Beno Gutenberg. It is awarded to individuals in recognition of their outstanding contributions to seismology.
The medal will be handed over and celebrated during the EGU General Assembly 2024, which will be held from 14–19 April in Vienna.
