Dr. Dominika Godová works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Geophysics of the Czech Academy of Sciences since November 2023. As a member of the Milestone Team (ERC Starting Grant MILESTONE), her research focuses on 3D integrated geophysical modelling of the North Chilean margin based on gravity data.

Dominika obtained her Ph.D. in Earth Sciences with focus on applied geophysics in 2023 at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. The topic of her doctoral studies was integrated geophysical modelling in the Western Carpathians, which was focused on the area of the Tatra Mountains. During her studies, Dominika participated on an Erasmus+ Traineeship at the University of Kiel (under guidance of Prof. Jörg Ebbing and Prof. Dr. Hans-Jürgen Götze) and at Université Paris-Saclay (under guidance of Prof. Dr. Hermann Zeyen). She has experience with 2D and 3D gravity-based integrated geophysical modelling and 2D thermal modelling of the lithosphere.
